We contacted Rodger about a job to trim and rehang mutliple doors of different types after our newly installed carpet was preventing them from opening. Bathroom, cupboard & several wardrobe doors all needed attention. Rodger came out at short notice and carried out the work to a high standard. You can tell he is an excellent joiner who prides himself in his high standard of work. He kept the place tidy while he worked and was pleasant to chat to while organising the work and while he was here. Would highly recommend using him for any joinery work and wouldn't hesitate to contact him again in future ourselves.Posted on Google
Dylan Elliott28 August 2026We found Roger through searching Glasgow joiner door hanging. After a quick and easy enquiry Roger phoned us the same day to discuss the work we were looking for. Roger was helpful and friendly and without a visit for a quote before the work was able to show up on short notice with all the necessary tools to complete the work. Roger took down each of our doors (which didn’t close properly), filled in holes from previous hinges, planed, and rehung the doors and recommended, collected and fit new handles on each door. He also was able to help us fit loft ladders we had purchased. He measured and cut a custom trap door and then fitted the ladders to them on short notice. We were very pleased with all his work, impressed with the quality and how tidy he was. Would highly recommend his services as a joiner.Posted on Google
Elizabeth Garrity25 August 2026Over the years I have had several jobs carried out by Rodger, including soundproofing and a fitted kitchen, and I knew I could trust his advice as well as the quality of his work. In my current home I was having a problem with cooking smells coming in underneath my flooring. Rodger explained how the floor should have been constructed in my flat; he investigated and sealed the gaps, and he also filled large gaps around the soil pipes, replacing the walls afterwards, which now look as good as new. (He also noticed problems with the hoses on my washing machine and dishwasher and fixed those too). I am very grateful to Rodger as I had tried various builders before getting in touch with him, and I hadn't been able to find anyone who would agree to carry out the work.Posted on Google

Maureen Devine3 May 2026I recently got Rodger to install soundproofing on my living room. Upstairs neighbours have a wooden floor which creeked with every step they took so much so I couldn't hear the tv. You could also hear their TV and any raised voices. After Rodger did an excellent job I now hear nothing from upstairs. Such peace of mind not waiting for noise to interrupt my peace. Wish I'd done it sooner, it was so easy having Rodger complete the job with efficiency.Posted on Google

Axel Hildenberg16 March 2026Absolutely delighted with the work from Rodger and his team! From start to finish they were professional, reliable, and clearly take great pride in what they do. The craftsmanship was outstanding and every detail was finished to a very high standard. They arrived on time, kept everything tidy, and made sure we were happy with the results before finishing. It’s not often you find tradespeople who are this friendly, hardworking, and committed to quality. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Quality Joiners to anyone looking for top-class joinery work. Martin M16 March 2026I contacted Rodger to source and fit a new bathroom door, as well as trim 4 existing doors in my house that were catching on carpets. He responded very quickly and came out in-person to take a look and quote me very competitively for the job. He carried out the job within a few days of the quote and I'm really delighted with the results, the new door looks great and the other doors all close freely now. Rodger was an absolute pleasure to deal with, very professional and friendly, fully explaining everything he was doing! I won't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone :)Load moreVerified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
